What is shiny object syndrome
In my own words, it is when someone is easily distracted from their current plans because the new idea (the shiny object) is more exciting or interesting.
This affects entrepreneurs at all stages. The better and further along you get in entrepreneurship, the brighter and more distracting the objects get. It never goes away

My experience with shiny object
From the very beginning when I started my website design and development agency I told myself that I was going to do this thing for at least 3 years. I wouldn't measure if I was successful or not until after a minimum of three years. Expecting my business to be successful than that isn't impossible, but unreasonable.
This early commitment has allowed to only do website design and development for about 2 years now. I thought that because I had been doing this for 2 years I overcame shiny object, but that was a lie.

My shiny object hasn't been in the form of choosing new businesses, but what my offer was within my business. Even now I wonder about making price changes, or maybe offering CRM software by white labeling High Level.
Going forward
What I need to do is stop trying to perfect my offer when no one has even seen my current offer. I need to choose something and stick with it for a few months.
